I stayed in Casa Vermelha Guesthouse with my fiancé for the Eastern holiday in March, 2016.
We were initially skeptical about the idea of staying at someone elses house instead of a regular hotel, mainly because we highly value our privacy. However, the attractive pictures in the website and the very reasonable price made us decide for the Casa Vermelha Guesthouse.
That couldn’t have gone better!
First, we arrived around 1:00 AM coming from Sao Paulo and the owners were still awake waiting for us. Despite the time, they made us feel very welcome and showed us to our amazing well-decorated, comfortable and spacious bedroom.
In the following morning, we had our first experience with the breathtaking view of our room.
The entire house was built on a slope with a view of the ocean and the continent far away, but without the disrupting sight of the large ships that cross the channel in the southern part of Ilhabela.
